International Exchange Programs

What Is 4-H International Australia Exchange?

The in-Australia Program Exchange Network is coordinated by a Minnesota 4-H alumna who resides in Australia who collaborates with Victorian Farm Federation.
The coordinator in Australia selects host families and makes final 4-H delegate host family assignments.
One or more adult chaperones accompany the delegates and live in the same region of Australia where youth are assigned.
Transportation to and from Australia will be on regularly scheduled airlines.
The program is approximately four weeks in length, beginning about June 20 and returning about July 20.
The delegates spend 1-2 days in the Melbourne area for orientation and sightseeing and a 3-4 day debriefing and sightseeing session in Sydney before returning to the USA.
We reserve the right to cancel this trip with full refund if there is insufficient participation.
