Terms and Conditions of Use For 4-H Websites

Attention kids: If you are 12 or under, you should get permission from your mom, dad or guardian before you do anything on a website, including sending any information about yourself or others, buying anything or entering any contest or game.

If you get permission from your mom, dad or guardian to send information to a website, like your name or email address, you should never use your full name. Just submit your first name, a nickname or initials.

4-H encourages parents and guardians to spend time online with their
children and to participate in the interactive activities offered on the sites.

Privacy Statement

4-H collects personally identifying information only during activity registration. In addition, information is collected in certain portions of websites in which users specifically and knowingly participate in content submissions, quizzes, or voting. 4-H may use such information for its internal purposes, including but not limited to editorial and feedback purposes. Unless otherwise disclosed during collection, 4-H does not provide any personally identifying information, regardless of its source, to any third party for any purpose whatsoever.

Terms and Conditions

In no manner should participants in 4-H post, transmit or otherwise distribute information constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offense or give rise to civil liability, or otherwise use 4-H in a manner which is contrary to law or would serve to restrict or inhibit any other user from using or enjoying a website.

Under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, will 4-H be liable for special or consequential damages that result from the use or inability to use the materials in this site. In no event shall 4-H liability to a user for any loss, damage or claim exceed the amount paid by the user for accessing this site.

This agreement is effective until terminated by either party. You may terminate this agreement at any time by discontinuing your use of the 4-H site and destroying all materials obtained from it.
