2007 Illinois State Fair

It was a scorcher in Springfield today. More 4-H projects arrived at the Illinois State Fairgrounds for a total of more than 2500 projects (169 more projects than last year)! Judging began in many project categories today and continued in areas started on Monday.

Many thanks to the staff, volunteers and 4-H families who delivered projects to Springfield. Hats off to those that serve Illinois 4-H youth.

The Jr. Home Economics Building and the U of I Extension Building are filled with projects. Check out the new exhibit space in the Exposition Building too!

As judging continued, ribbons were attached and projects were readied for public display, which begins Friday.
