2004 Illinois State Fair

Illinois State Fair opened to the public and 4-H was ready! The
counties from the east central region of the state participated
in action-oriented projects, like bicycle rodeo, public presentations,
foods demonstrations, theatre arts, Passport to the World and Walk
in My Shoes group presentations.
At the Pygmy Goat show, 12-year-old Samantha Duszynski, of Camargo
in Douglas County, won grand champion honors. Reserve champion winner
was Clark County’s Tyler Howard.
Brittney Murphy, 18, Geneseo, in Henry County, showed the Grand
Champion Barrow today. Jordan Newell, 13, of Williamsfield in Knox
County, won reserve champion honors.
